As a Senior Project Manager in our Central North Island office, Mark brings a great deal of experience and industry knowledge to his role.
His passion for the built environment and construction project management saw him achieve his MSc (Construction Management) Cum Laude in 2014 and become registered as a Professional Construction Project Manager in South Africa. Since then, Mark has worked in a variety of roles, managing medium to large scale residential developments from both a contractor’s and developer’s perspective. He has been involved in all aspects of the construction process for mid-to-high income residential developments and large-scale retirement villages, giving him an understanding of technical construction methodologies and how to appropriately allocate resources and durations to project programmes. Mark has also worked on the acquisition of new projects and conducted feasibility studies to ensure projects meet the client’s objectives.
Since arriving in New Zealand, Mark has managed many projects across the Central North Island, including complex weathertightness remediations, in the role of Project Manager and Engineers Representative. He has significant experience in managing contracts under NZS3910 and has a passion for health and safety, risk management and quality management.
Mark’s calm demeanour, interpersonal skills, organisational abilities and attention to detail see him successfully deliver projects on time, within budget and to a high standard.
