Based in Hamilton, Mark is a Senior Project Manager and Registered Building Surveyor with extensive experience administering NZS3910 contracts and managing remediation projects, big and small, throughout the North Island.

His attention to detail and innate understanding of design stems from considerable previous experience in the design industry, where he spent more than 20 years as a draughtsman. Mark worked for a group-home company as well as a number of prominent architects, preparing design and construction documentation for residential sub-divisions, shopping centres, bulk retail and warehousing, commercial buildings, retirement villages, international marinas and the Sky City Casino and Sky Tower.

His project management experience incorporates both residential and educational work. He has managed large high-end residential rebuilds of 900+sqm with multiple cladding types, incorporating highly detailed and specialised junctions. His most recent project was a $20m low rise 99-unit apartment complex, requiring extensive remediation and coordination of consultants, contractors and residents.

Mark has been involved in many Ministry of Education remediation projects over the years varying greatly in scale and complexity. These range from large science and gymnasium buildings to multiple teaching and administration buildings. Thanks to his proficiency and experience in the design and construction industry, he is fully conversant in many varied forms of cladding materials/systems and construction techniques.

Mark’s great communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure sees him successfully complete projects on time and within budget.
